Paste the entries (for example the usernames from comments), remove duplicates, then spin or draw several winners.
How to pick a giveaway winner
- Collect the entries: copy the usernames from the comments, a form or a sign-up sheet.
- Paste them into the box, one per line, and press Remove duplicates so each person counts once.
- Spin for one winner, or set the number of winners and press Draw winners.
- Keep the proof: record your screen while you spin. The Results tab and its CSV export list every draw with the time.
The wheel does not connect to any social network or account; you paste the names yourself.
Several winners at once
Draw winners picks the number of different winners you ask for, in draw order, so the first name can take first prize. Nobody can win twice in the same draw. If you set weights, every draw follows them exactly as the wheel would.
Prize wheels for events and shops
Put prizes on the wheel instead of names and use Weights to make rare prizes rare. The slice size always equals the chance, so a grand prize with weight 1 among 14 total looks exactly as small as it is. Tell people the odds; the rules for giveaways and prize draws depend on the platform and the country, so check them before you run one.
Questions
How do I pick a random winner for an Instagram giveaway?
Copy the usernames from the comments, paste them here one per line, press Remove duplicates, then spin. The wheel does not log in to Instagram; it only uses the list you paste.
Can I pick multiple winners?
Yes. Type how many winners you need and press Draw winners. Each person can win only once per draw.
What are good prizes for a spin wheel?
Small, instant prizes work best: a discount, a free item, a sticker or sample, an extra spin, with one rare bigger prize. Give the rare prize a lower weight so its smaller slice shows the real odds.
Is the giveaway wheel fair?
Yes. Every entry has the same chance unless you set weights, and Draw winners uses the same weights as the wheel. See the 1,000,000-spin test.
How do I make a prize wheel?
Type one prize per line, then open Weights and give common prizes a higher number than rare ones. Check that the slices look right (the slice size is the chance), add your logo as the center image in Options and press Save.
What is a prize wheel called?
Prize wheel, spin-to-win wheel or prize spinner. The TV game show where contestants spin a big wheel is Wheel of Fortune.
How can I spin the wheel and win a prize?
Only when someone runs a prize draw: a shop, an event or a creator giving something away. They set the prizes and the rules. A genuine giveaway never asks you to pay or to share passwords to claim a prize.
Is there a free random name picker for lucky draws?
Yes, this page. Paste the entries, press Remove duplicates, then spin once per prize or use Draw winners for several at once. It is free and needs no account.
