Your flips are listed here.

Press Flip or tap the coin. Each flip is an independent 50/50 draw from your browser’s cryptographic random generator.

    How the coin flip works

The result is decided the moment you press Flip, with a random bit from crypto.getRandomValues; the animation only shows it. Heads and tails each have exactly half the chance, and earlier flips have no effect on the next one.

    Flip several coins at once

Choose 2 to 10 coins and every coin is flipped separately. The result line shows each coin and how many landed heads, and the tally adds them all up. Handy for probability lessons: flip 10 coins a few times and watch the share of heads drift toward 50%.

    Streaks are normal

Five heads in a row feels suspicious, but in 100 flips a run of five or more of the same side is more likely than not. The tally shows your longest streak, so you can see it happen for yourself.

    Questions

Is an online coin flip really 50/50?

This one is: each flip takes one random bit from your browser’s cryptographic generator, so heads and tails are equally likely every time.

Can I flip more than one coin?

Yes, up to 10 at once. Each coin is a separate, independent flip.

Does a real coin land 50/50?

Very nearly. Studies of hand-flipped coins have found a slight tendency to land on the side that started facing up. A digital flip has no such bias.

What should I use a coin flip for?

Any choice between two options that are both fine: who goes first, which film to watch, or settling a friendly bet.
